My name is Mark Libby - I am a freelance expert wallpaper hanger and decorative artist , originally from Polruan in Cornwall and now based in Bloomsbury, London. I can provide quality work for a discerning clientele.

Since qualifying in 1992, I have worked on projects for various clients including Anouska Hempel Design Ltd and Godrich Interiors

I have also had many private clients including contracts in Egypt and Austria. My style combines contemporary and traditional techniques as demonstrated on projects at The Hempel Hotel and at Blakes Hotel.

As a professional wallpaper hanger, I have worked with a specialist wallpaper hangers guild. I am experienced at hanging many different types of wall coverings, including delicate hand printed papers, paper backed fabrics and super wide wallpapers. I also have experience of hanging de Gournay wallcoverings and I am now on their private list of recommended hangers.

I work to a very high standard specialising in  wallpaper hanging, gilding, reproduction, faux finishes, Trompe L'oeil, murals and decorative paint techniques.

I make cracked gesso canvas for a beautiful wallcovering that can also be applied to furniture or any other suitable surface, with a choice of colours and finishes, including metal leaf, iridescent pearl, coloured shellac and plain colour.

I can also make bespoke hard lampshades utilising these decorative finishes, or incorporating wallpapers of your choice to suit any   interior scheme.

I offer free estimates and advice. I can work alone or in combination with interior designers or architects as and when necessary.
